Milo's Waiting Seed

In the garden, warm and bright, Milo played in sunny light. With patient Gran, a tortoise kind, A tiny carrot seed they find.
Milo tucked it in the ground. "Grow!" he whispered, looking 'round. He watched and waited, just a bit, But the little seed just sat.
"Good things take time," said slow Gran, "That is nature's happy plan." With sun and water, soft and deep, The seed woke up from its long sleep.
A tiny sprout began to grow, Just for Milo, sweet and slow.
